Cara Diagnosa Cepat

Dari komputer client:

Test port

Test-NetConnection 103.xxx.xxx.xx -Port 3306

Hasil penting:

Jika:

TcpTestSucceeded : True

berarti port terbuka.

Jika:

False

berarti:

• firewall server
• hosting blok
• port tertutup

Kalau Hosting Shared cPanel

Banyak provider:

• hanya mengizinkan localhost
• remote mysql harus request support
• atau hanya internal network

Jadi walaupun menu Remote MySQL ada, belum tentu benar-benar dibuka.

Solusi Alternatif Paling Aman

Kalau database hanya dipakai aplikasi web:

• gunakan localhost
• jangan remote publik

Kalau perlu akses luar:

• gunakan VPN
• atau SSH Tunnel

Contoh SSH Tunnel:

ssh -L 3307:localhost:3306 user@server-ip

lalu aplikasi connect ke:

127.0.0.1:3307

Ini lebih aman dibanding buka 3306 publik.

Kemungkinan Terbesar dari Kasus Anda

Karena error:

10060 timeout

dan bukan:

Access denied

maka hampir pasti:

• port 3306 belum terbuka
  ATAU
• hosting provider memblok remote mysql.
